2019 HITMC Best Marketing Program Submission
Anderson Interactive is submitting the HCAA Marketing Program — designed to drive membership and attendance for the association’s two annual conferences, Executive Forum and TPA Summit. This members-only association for the healthcare’s self-funding industry, features a diverse program of educational resources, conferences, networking and charitable events, and more to highlight best practices and IT solutions for third-party administrators (TPAs), benefit administrators, insurance brokers and other executive leaders. The association is designed to both educate and to bring members together to network and to share ideas that will move both their companies, and the industry, forward.
Anderson Interactive has partnered with HCAA for marketing, social media and public relations for the past 5 years, and through extensive promotion have dramatically increased attendees, sponsors and members to record numbers event-after-event, year-after-year.
Because of the not-for-profit association’s tiny marketing budget, Anderson Interactive had to get pretty creative for their marketing program — dropping proposed advertising campaigns in favor of more cost-effective tactics such as list purchases, email marketing, website page creation, quarterly email newsletters, heavy social media outreach, and direct mail distribution.
The result? another record-breaking year. With this creative approach to marketing, we’ve far surpassed attendee numbers and TPA-company representation over all previous years and have sold out all sponsor opportunities for the last few events. In addition, because the conferences are for members-only, the campaigns had a dual purpose of not only driving attendees, but helping the association achieve a significant boost in new and renewed member applications.

Member publication advertisements
Created custom designed advertisements placed in conference brochures and industry leading publications like SIIA and NAHU.
Designed Direct Mail
Created custom designed postcards for each event.
Designed Marketing Email Outreach
Supported HCAA’s efforts by creating 65 unique emails from 2018-2019.
Supported educational efforts on a multitude of website updates.
Heavily promote’s the HCAA association’s message on social media by sending an average of 59 posts each month on Twitter alone.
